Unseren Sonntag Morgen haben wir auf dem Markt in Byron Bay verbracht, dort gabs alles was das Herz begehrt... Schmuck, Klamotten, jede Menge KrimsKrams, Essen, Trinken und hier und dort ne Band. Der Abschied aus diesem suessen Staetdchen ist mir ein bisschen schwer gefallen, dort haette ich laenger bleiben koennen. Doch unser Zeitplan ist eng und am Nachmittag mussten wir uns auf den Weg nach Surfers Paradise machen.
Surfers Paradise ist wahrscheinlich fuer die Australier das gleiche wie Mallorca fuer die Deutschen. Die Stadt hat mir nicht besonders gut gefallen, viel zu viele Touristen und ein Souvenierladen nach dem anderen.
Lange haben wirs dort auch nicht ausgehalten und sind nach einem Stadtbummel am 7. Januar die Gold Coast nach oben nach Brisbane gefahren. Wir haben dort Cvija am Flughafen abgesetzt und haben uns dann die Stadt angesehen. Die vielen schlechten Meinungen, die ich bis jetzt ueber Brisbane gehoert habe kann ich nicht teilen. Die Stadt wird jetzt nicht zu meiner Lieblingsstadt werden, aber mir gefaellt sie ganz gut. Ganz besonders bei Nacht hat sie einen tollen Flaire, die beleuchtete Story Bridge und die Skyline dahinter.
Nach Brisbane gings die Kueste weiter nach oben, wir waren nun an der Sunshine Coast... von Sonnenschein war leider nicht so viel zu spueren... auch am 9. Januar als wir uns die Glas House Mountains angeschaut haben, hatten wir mal wieder einen Regentag erwischt. Weiter gings nach Noosa in den National Park dort. Ein ganz kleiner Park, der sich an der Kueste entlang zieht. Der National Park ist fuer seine Koalas bekannt und wir hatten Glueck und das nass werden waehrend unseres Spaziergangs hatte sich doch ein bisschen gelohnt. Ganz oben in den Baeumen haben sie geklebt die kleinen Teddies. Die sind echt total goldig und gar nicht scheu. Wir sind an einen mal ein bisschen naeher hin gelaufen und er hat nur verschlafen seine Augen aufgemacht, sich umgeguckt und wieder weiter geschlafen. Wusstet ihr, dass Koalas 20 Stunden am Tag schlafen und 4 Stunden essen?!?!
In Noosa war ich dann auch das erste Mal in einem Aldi ;-) Den gibts naemlich in Australien auch!
